1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. baking soda
½ cup plus 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, room temperature
¾ cup packed golden brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
¾ macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
¾ cup pecans, coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 2 cookie sheets.
Mix first 4 ingredients in small bowl.
In separate large bowl beat together butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Stir in dry ingredients, then add in chips and nut.
Drop cookie dough by ¼ cupfuls onto prepared cookie sheets, spacing evenly. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Cool cookies on sheets 5 minutes. Transfer cookies to rack and cool.
Store in airtight container.
Makes 18 large cookies
