One bite and you’ll know why these cookies are called Grand Slam. Peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate and M&Ms team up to create an explosion of flavor.
3 large eggs
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. baking soda
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 ½ cups peanut butter, smooth or chunky
4 ½ cups rolled oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup M&M chocolate candy
Preheat oven to 350°. Whisk eggs in large bowl or standing mixer. Add sugars, vanilla, baking soda, butter and peanut butter, mixing after each addition.
Stir in oats, chocolate chips and M&Ms until well blended. Roll dough by tablespoonfuls into ball and place on ungreased cookie sheet 4-inches apart. Bake 12-15 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool on wire racks.
