12 chicken wings (2 1/2 lbs.), tips removed
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1 1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. pepper
Blue cheese or Ranch dressing, if desired
Combine all dry ingredients in plastic bag. Seal bag and shake to blend seasonings.
Add chicken and shake to coat. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
Prepare coals or gas grill. Lightly grease grate to prevent chicken from sticking. Grill wings over medium-hot coals for 20-25 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Cook until chicken is no longer pink inside and juices run clear.
Serve with dressings on side, if desired.
